"My husband and I stayed here and hosted an intimate dinner one evening over a long weekend in November of 2011. We loved the charming setting the the home provided, as well as the beautiful grounds. It's the perfect place for a small party, with charming lights outside, full kitchen (a plus for the caterer) and the event room that's available in the back for dinner/event. It's a great place to relax and maybe bring bikes to go wine tasting in Edna Valley."

"My wife and I stayed at the Old Edna for three happy months in the summer and fall of 2010 while we were looking for a permanent home. We have sent friends in a similar position there for several months, and they too were extremely pleased with their stay. Recently I spent a couple of nights back in the house and everything looks even better. The house and grounds are an ongoing project of love for Pattea Torrance, who has great respect for the privacy of her guests. We still occasionally stop by to say hi. The house is spotless and furnished in period style, with real imagination. It would be ideal for a couple or two couples, or as the focus for a wedding or family reunion... This place is a tranquil gem."
"We needed a place to celebrate our mothers 90th as well as a place to have as a family 'home base.' This was the perfect choice! The comfort care and attention to detail provided by Pattea was amazing. Our every desire was anticipated and tended to without interfering with our fun. What a beautiful property to enjoy and the winery tasting room and deli next door was spectacular. Seriously comfortable beds and bedding, as well as lofty towels. Perfect spot to go to every point on the central coast. We will certainly return for a romantic weekend ourselves soon."

"...There are two things that set Suite Edna apart. First is Pattea Torrence - the owner - she is very nice and helpful and makes you feel at home. Second is the fact that the home is on a historic townsite - meaning the place has barns and pet goats surrounding the house and makes you feel like you are back in the early 1900's - except you are steps away from wine tasting (literally) and 10 minutes from downtown San Luis Obispo."
